The first two times I did shore based diving from Sharm I used other diving centers, but there were too much waiting time and too short dives. Subex might be at little more expensive. But it is so worth it. - Efficient and no waIting times. I can do three long dives and be back at the hotel at 16:00. In stead of doing two shorter dives and being back at 18:00. - Own boat at Nama bay, so the hassel at the habour is avoided. - Free nitrox. - Steel tanks. - 15 l tanks if you want it. - No limits on dive time. And the dive guides are quite enthusiastic and competent. Really enjoyed laste weeks diving at Sharm. Saw both whale shark and manta ray. Guess I was lucky.

Chers amis de Subex, Il y a 34 ans, nous avons plongé avec René Galster aux Maldives. Nous avons retrouvé plus récemment la culture Subex à El Quseir dans un site unique que nous avons visité six fois. Nous sommes consternés d'apprendre que la nouvelle direction a rompu le contrat. Nous avions espéré que le gouvernement égyptien avait compris l'urgence de protéger les récifs corralliens et l'environnement en général, en reconnaissant le travail de pionnier de Subex. Malheureusement les exigences financières des investisseurs du golfe ont prévalu. Nous sommes tristes. Antoine Uské, past president SUHMS, instructeur CMAS

I was shocked to read the e-mail about the closing of the Quseir dive base. Anger, sadness and all the good memories where my first emotions. We have visited the hotel 3 times, and we were planning to go there in the future as many times as our income would allow for, but without the PERFECT Subex divebase there is no reason for this. I feel especially bad for the "sahibi's" Adel, Action and the other Egyptian friends that made our dives so pleasant. And I am very worried about the future of the eco-reef that was protected so very well that it should be an example to the worldwide diving industry. Our best wishes go out to all the Staff.

Hi everybody. It is with great pleasure that I comment my second diving adventure with SUBEX Dahab. I have spent a marvelous time in the Canyon, Blue Hole, Eel garden and others. All the staff both European and Egyptian has been very professional, kind and helpful. I wish I were there for an additional time but I had to be back in Poland. Hopefully soon I'll be back to discover with Subex more fabulous diving sites. Thank you, Shoukran Rafal

Wij komen voor de 18e keer in Egypte en weten denk ik wel welke duikschool goed en niet goed is, maar dit is een topper veel aandacht voor beginners en dat zegt vaak genoeg, wij hebben meer dan 100 duiken gemaakt en ik denk 25 met Subex. Gr Ferry

To all beginners If you want to learn how to dive - just go for it! It's easy and at the same time not but don't give in. Trust your Subex instructors, they helped me a lot to bolster my confidence and self-belief so I went again and again under water. Big thanks to my teachers Ändu and Sven . It was nice to search for crabs with Ändu and put on the flippers with Sven. :-) See you soon on my next diving holidays.

One week in April just being around the base in Sharm made me feel to dive. It was imposing to see what a professional team they've got there. You start "diving" at the reception. :-) The atmosphere is great. And so I'm looking forward to my first intro-dive at the end of July.

Hi, My name is Harry I am 10 years old & just had the most fantastic holiay ever at the Maritim Royal Penninsula Hotel in Sharm. I spent all my days (2 weeks)up at the diving centre with my best friend Fouad. I think I was a bit of a pest some times but he was fab to me. I conquered my fears & dived 3 times! Every dive got better & better. I never thought I would do it, but Fouad made me feel so relaxed. I was very scared to begin with but after the 1st dive, I was fine. He is my fried & I cant wait to see him again. Please pass this message on to him. He is the best ! Thank you so much Fouad! Miss you. Harry x

I Would like to say a very very big THANK YOU to all at Subex @ Jolie Ville in Naama Bay. My 2 week holiday was fantastic due to the excellent diving experience i had with Subex. I would like to say a big hello to Mijo(he can fly through water), Marlon (thanks for giving my fiance lynn her first underwater experience), Andu, Andrea, Simone and finally Fauod (can you let him know that shark he told me about on the boat trip to near garden never found me). A brilliant end to 2008 and an even better start to 2009. Thanks again to all Subex staff, hope to see you again in 2009.
